Full Job Description

We currently have 34 beds, 16 of which being Higher Observation Beds. You will work alongside the Registered Band 5 Nurse providing excellent care to pre and post operative cardiac and thoracic surgical patients, as well as acute and trauma admissions., The successful applicant should have good communication skills, have a caring attitude and be able to work as part of a team.
We offer a good working environment with a full Cardiothoracic training package with the opportunity to rotate into PAVU broadening your knowledge and skills within the speciality.
This is a supportive and specialist learning environment for staff, within the low and higher observation areas. (Including a period of supernumerary status) .
