Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

Location: Arnold, Nottinghamshire

Salary: A£31,500 - A£44,648 (+ A£5000 welcome bonus)

Hours: Full Time, Permanent (37.5)

Merco Medical have partnered with a n award winning Independent Hospital in their search for top talent and their recruitment of a permanent, full time Mental Health Nurse (RMN) based in Nottinghamshire. Providing acute adult mental health services and due to expansion, we are looking for a professional person to join the team and drive the organisation to become 'Outstanding', putting patient care at the forefront in all they do.
Position Overview:

As a registered RMN you will provide high levels of care to patients with mental illnesses and / or personality disorders.

You will develop individualised therapeutic care plans to optimise patient engagement.

You will contribute to the assessment of patients and their ongoing care plans, monitoring their progress and supporting them through their journey to better mental health.

If you join us at a senior level, you will lead shifts, mentor junior members of staff and operate as the go to person for professional peer support.

We are looking for a confident nurse with a positive outlook who can work in a service that prides its self on providing person centred and individualised care pathways. If you are confident in your ability to support patients in their recovery, whilst working with the wider team to achieve their goals, we'd love to hear from you.

You will be flexible, caring and supportive, sharing values that put the service user first, and be keen to contribute to service development.

Working collaboratively within an MDT to deliver high quality person centred care, with the drive to work with individuals to achieve the best outcomes for them and be a positive role model and mentor for junior members of the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant nursing qualification and registration.

  • A commitment to and experience of delivering patient centred care in a mental health setting as a nurse.

  • A highly motivated and flexible team player - someone who just wants to get the job done - right first time.

  • A flexible and reliable professional - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
