Full Job Description
The EMEA Regional Sourcing Leader (HR Svc - Compensation & Benefits aka Total Rewards) role is pivotal in driving savings and efficiencies through management of supplier base.
The role works directly with, & supports the EMEA Regional Sub-Category Leader and collaborates with GEHC US & Regional Category Leaders, Global Sourcing Leaders, Business Leaders and their teams, supporting the management of some of the following sub-categories in Labour & HR Services:
- EMEA HR Services - Compensation & Benefits, People Operations & Payroll & other selected HR Services.
- Partnering with key business stakeholders to support the needs of the business.
- Supports running the competitive bidding buying channels for their scope whilst adhering to relevant commodity/service/category strategies.
- Owns execution of statements of work for their scope and designated threshold whilst adhering to relevant commodity/service/category strategies.
- Develops solutions and delivers on priorities for the designated scope. Maintains metrics for sourcing scope and identifies new areas of opportunity to deliver or exceed targets.
- Supports the EMEA Regional Sub-Category Leader role during the process of designing and implementing the EMEA Total Rewards (TR) Sub-Category sourcing strategy, preparation of TR Category plans.
- Supports the EMEA Regional Sub-Category Leader role during the process of making TR sub-category specific changes to the Finance systems, reporting, contract databases or other relevant sourcing tools/facilities.
- Owns achieving allocated Indirect savings targets, leading, and running project execution across their scope.
- Responsible for risk management in supplier base ensuring all compliance and quality standards are met.
- Liaise with stakeholders and Sourcing colleagues across the organization to understand /share best practices and leverage expertise.
- Identify and own local and cross Strategic Business Unit (SBU)/Regional supply base. Leverage category contracts into assigned SBU to maximize opportunities.
- Drive business metrics affected by indirect Sourcing, identify new areas of cost out and implement operating efficiency.
- Provide feedback and support to other Sourcing Leaders.
- Interface with SBUs on cross business projects
- Provide appropriate contract coverage for goods and services in the region. Be proficient in executing the GEHC legal templates and negotiating terms and conditions, service levels and pricing with suppliers.
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to RSL's sub-commodities.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.
- Develop and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base.
Formal sourcing qualification / bachelor's degree in engineering, business and /or equivalent degree. - Some professional services sourcing experience, some/all in a large corporate sourcing environment
- Delivered cross Functional/Business savings and deployed initiatives projects.
- Shown ability to lead and cooperate with teams virtually and in person at all levels of an organization.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time.
- Proficient with IT based tools especially Microsoft office tools.
- Fluent in English
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments and targets.
- Proven ability to influence and gain consensus to achieve priorities for the benefit of the company.
- Able to combine a strong sense of humility and partnership with Stakeholders and Suppliers, with the purpose of Sourcing's mission, making GE Healthcare leaner and more cost efficient., Negotiated complex services engagements
- Tenacious, strong negotiator, good communicator at all levels and across different cultures.
- Industry relevant Experience & EMEA Market knowledge and understanding of the managed categories (Labour and/or HR or Professional Services)
- Business proficiency in French/Spanish languages an advantage.

- Great stakeholder management - able to understand internal customers' needs and CTQ's and deliver them from the supplier base.

- Experience with e-Sourcing platforms an advantage.
- Able to balance priorities and pivot when necessary.
- Greenbelt or Black Belt certification preferred.
The candidate uses prior experience/expertise to support the Regional Sub-Category Leader for this scope in executing sub-category/functional strategies; leverages in-depth understanding of business strategy to accomplish work and has technical & analytical abilities to solve problems.
The role reports directly to the Director Global Categories (Professional Services, Total HR & Labour Services) and will be based in EMEA (UK, Poland, Hungary or Germany). Our team members can work from home and/or from the local GE Healthcare office to be closer to their stakeholders.,
