An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Quality Manager to join the team at Galliford Try.

Ideally, you will based in or around the Guildford area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.

Quality Managers use a variety of measures and management systems, such as the Galliford Try Business Management System, Total Quality Management, industry standards, legislation, CoP, Best Practice, Delivering Excellence and other. Your work is specialised and the exact tasks carried out will be to support the Division and Business Unit's Quality Management aspirations and expectations.

What you will be doing:

  • Fully support our strategy, Delivering Excellence, in particular the "Right First Time" cornerstone.

  • The implementation of the companies BMS, control and supervision of all amendments and revisions.

  • Define and implement a Quality Management Strategy for each new FY, to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Control and the distribution of all the company's quality documentation.

  • Monitor all quality related activities on the projects and feedback back Non-Conformities and Areas for Improvement to the Project Team.

  • Support our Teams on all matters relating to Quality Management.

  • Perform internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management and in line with the BMS.

  • Ensure preparedness and manage any external Audits, such as BSI.

  • Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors.

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and support the coordination of all project requirements with the project bid lead.

  • Attend client Quality Management meetings

  • Support the preparation and control of "Project Quality System Management" documentation prior to project commencement.

  • Assist the project teams to review "Quality Inspection Personnel Qualifications" and training requirements where applicable to specific build systems or products, i.e.: CWCT.

  • Monitor the disposition of all issued Non-Conformance reports to ensure corrective measures are actioned.

  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the Project Quality Management System. Recommend and implement improvements when required.

  • Co-ordinate all QM activities with the Project Teams.

  • Co-ordinate all QM activities with the Regional Supply Chain Manager.

  • Considerable experience in Quality Management and Assurance.

  • Strong QM credentials and Audit skills.
