Recycling Technician

To assist with co-ordination of returned pre & post-consumer material and samples, these will require sorting and grading for re-purposing into new products.

Duties will include -

• Logging and inventory of returned material & products


• Sorting returned material by colour


• Grading according to proposed new product


• Refurbishment of some returned products so they can be returned into life cycle.


• Sanding and polishing using hand power tools


• Cutting on table saw


• CNC, chop-saw


Responsibilities -

• To adhere to the highest standard of Health & Safety practices for the workshop team and the wider business, including contributing to developing and improving these practices


• To work with the workshop team to meet customer expectations and delivery dates


• To be adaptable and flexible in approaching work


• To understand and work to improve our quality systems


• To participate actively in team briefings and meetings


• To learn and ensure machine maintenance records are completed


• To take an active part in 1-2-1 and PDR meetings


• To contribute towards the success of Team KPI's
