As our Assessment and Selection Executive, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in creating, shaping and enhancing our assessment and selection processes across all business areas. Providing guidance and support to recruitment for their specific needs you will deliver a great assessment process that provides a great experience for our candidates in their recruitment journeys.

What you'll do

You will play a crucial role in supporting the creation, development and implementation of assessment and selection processes and materials across all business areas. Collaborating closely with recruitment teams, you will support their specific needs, ensuring a consistent and inclusive approach. Working with external partners, you will bring innovative ideas and best practices to continuously improve our selection and assessment methods. Your responsibilities will include conducting training needs analysis, delivering workshops, and maintaining a strong understanding of reasonable adjustment / ability needs. Additionally, you will contribute to evaluation reports, monitor key data metrics, and drive a shared assessment methodology aligned with our D E & I strategy. Your role will also involve managing third party relationships, owning some initiatives, and staying abreast of industry trends to enhance our knowledge base and thought leadership.

Who you are

You have a solid understanding of assessment and selection processes, as well as experience in implementing third party solutions. With your expertise in project management within a large and complex organisation, you play a vital role in supporting the development of inclusive assessment and selection approaches across all business areas. Your strong communication and relationship management skills allow you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, ensuring that our internal recruitment teams have the guidance and support they need. Your passion for diversity and inclusion, along with your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong supplier relationships, position you as a key contributor to our recruitment and HR priorities. You understand the importance of candidate experience and expectation throughout the candidate lifecycle and have had experience in an internal recruitment role or 3rd party model
environment. As a great communicator, you know how to deliver findings to stakeholders who may be unfamiliar with advanced data techniques and technical jargon. Within our agile and flexible environment, your ability to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement makes you invaluable to our assessment and selection processes.

  • Demonstrate experience in supporting the development and implementation of assessment and selection processes and materials across various business areas, including creating materials.

  • Show a proven track record of collaborating with recruitment teams to meet specific needs, ensuring a consistent and inclusive approach.

  • Show experience of working with external 3 rd party partners to introduce innovative ideas and best practices that enhance selection and assessment methods.

  • Experience in managing third party relationships, taking ownership of initiatives, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends to contribute to our knowledge base and thought leadership.

  • Understanding of Assessment & Selection process and 3rd party suppliers, i.e. why it's used, what measurements are applied and how on-going improvements can be applied.

  • Understanding of the importance of candidate experience and expectation throughout the candidate lifecycle i.e mobile first built products.

  • Experience of a within internal recruitment role or 3rd party model environment.

  • Experience in delivering findings to stakeholders who may be unfamiliar with advanced data techniques and technical jargon.

  • Excellent communication skills & attention to detail.
