Full Job Description

Responsible for managing and coordinating the recruitment process for early careers, specifically graduates, interns and apprentices, across all offices and business groups/teams using direct sourcing methods.
Introduction to the team:
As a Recruitment Advisor, you will be part of a wider HR team that supports the firm in areas such as HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion and reward. Led by an HR Director, the team is currently made up of 23 people, who strive to deliver a seamless service to all Partners and employees.,

  • Management of internal relationships with key stakeholders (Partners, hiring managers) in relation to recruiting for their departments and wider teams.

  • Liaising with and managing relations with external suppliers.

  • Management of our candidate management system (AllHires)

  • Identifying new techniques of sourcing from a diverse talent pool.

  • Conducting interviews and recruitment processes with prospective candidates.

  • Training colleagues in the HR team on candidate attraction techniques.

  • Recruitment for roles across all offices in the UK.

  • Promotion of our employer brand

  • Co-ordinate the on-boarding processes for early career groups

  • Support the day-to-day co-ordination of early careers groups to ensure quality standards are met

  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion throughout the process

  • Pro-actively use social media channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn to promote the firms early careers vacancies and opportunities


  • Outside of early careers, roles you may also have the opportunity to recruit for within Hill Dickinson include but are not limited to:

  • Paralegals

  • NQs

  • All levels of qualified solicitor

  • Costs Drafts People

  • Administration | Secretarial & Facilities

  • IT | Business Change | Compliance

  • HR, BD & Marketing, Finance

  • Ad hoc temporary roles

    Previous recruitment experience (in-house or agency)

  • Good knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle

  • Experience of using a candidate management system

  • Excellent competence in Microsoft office

  • Strong advisory/administration and communication skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and be organised.

  • Proactive and professional approach to work

  • Ability to work as part of a wider HR team and independently.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues.

  • Flexibility in approach

  • Knowledge and understanding of stakeholder management at a senior level.

  • Knowledge and experience of managing and implementing a multi-channel direct sourcing model.
