Please visit our recruitment support page for advice on completing your application., We are seeking applications for the new role of Recruitment Administrator to join the Recruitment and Shared Services Department and support the smooth processing of advertising vacancies and application management.
The role is integral to supporting an efficient and effective recruitment workflow. The successful post holder will work alongside our Recruitment and Talent team to ensure that we are providing the best service to our appointing managers seeking new staff and to applicants looking to join EEAST.
This is a busy role, but one that offers an excellent sense of achievement and the opportunity to develop a range of coordination and administration skills as well as an understanding of the Ambulance Trust and how they deliver great patient care. You will have the opportunity to learn from your colleagues and will be encouraged to rise to all challenges and opportunities available to you.
The role will require on-site working at Lakeview House, Priory Business Park in Bedford. This will be 5 days a week until the successful completion of a 6 month probation period, after which a minimum of 3 days per week would be required, with the availability to work 2 from home if desired.
We have one Full Time position available (37.5 hours per week), working Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 17:00pm. Part time hours may be considered if the hours can be covered by 2 suitable applicants., + To regularly monitor approved vacancies on the TRAC system, review and apply next steps
as appropriate (advertise, chase documentation etc).
+ To Link all vacancies to ESR in line with service requirements and timescales.
+ Send and manage TRAC comms relating to the moving of vacancies through the recruitment
process from Advertising to Interview Outcome.
+ Build rapport and strong working relationships with hiring managers to coordinate a smooth
process for allocated vacancies.
+ To coordinate the communication with candidates throughout the advert to interview stages
to provide updates, reschedule interviews and manage expectations of next steps and
timescales
+ To re-advertise vacancies as required.
+ Responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the Team and manager in planning, coordinating, various activities in relevance to their own discipline
+ The post holder will have sound knowledge of secretarial or administrative procedures and systems, some of which are non-routine, and non-routine activities such as answering queries, progress chasing, task-related problem solving.
+ The post holder will have support available from the manager or other senior colleagues, as/when required.
