Full Job Description

  • Attend politely and efficiently to Members, Volunteers and Visitors providing excellent customer service


  • Taking telephone enquiries


  • Administration duties


  • Maintaining Databases and working on Computerised systems


  • Updating noticeboards and posters working with the Marketing Manager


  • Take Responsibility for the Bar and Mobile Bar Rota


  • Taking payments and bookings efficiently and accurately


  • Cash handling and credit card payments


  • Providing refunds where authorised to do so by the Centre Manager


  • Keeping the workspace clean and tidy


  • Working within a team


  • Photocopying and organising supplies for the photocopying machine


  • Monitoring and ordering of office stationary items


  • Other administrative duties as and when required

  • COMMUNICATION:

  • To work in collaboration with the Association's management and staff to ensure that effective communication exists.

  • To sustain effective working relationships across the organisation to meet the objectives of the Association.

  • To maintain accurate records to enable the delivery of all information requirements within the scope of the role in a timely fashion.

  • INFORMATION:

  • To ensure that information systems are up to date with respect to the Association's services.

  • To be responsible for the production of accurate information with particular regard to membership lists and room reservation lists.

  • To provide up to date and accurate information to support the Association's planning processes.

  • OTHER:

  • To participate in staff meetings as reasonably required.

  • To have a good understanding of the Association's objectives.

  • To attend staff training sessions.

  • To participate in staff rotas as reasonably required.

  • To assist at various fund-raising events as requested.
