Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Receptionist and admin support to join our fabulous 0-18 Children and young peoples mental health service. You will be working with our experienced and established admin team by answering queries from the families we work with and taking on general admin duties. We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.

We are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services to our colleagues across the locality.

We will ensure that you have access to internal opportunities for development with access to supervision and appraisal., This role will involve answering telephone queries and emails from our service users, carers, families and professionals, and dealing with or forwarding / redirecting telephone calls and emails as appropriate. Along with general admin duties., Recruitment selection processes are based on competence (see Person specification) and values.

  • NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent/or relevant administration experience, NVQ Level 2 Customer Care, Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge and understanding Data Protection Act

  • General office duties, eg. Filing, photocopying, faxing, Typing experience

  • Experience of dealing with the public on the telephone and face to face
