We are looking for a Reception Teacher, who is dedicated to providing exceptional pastoral care and a first-class education. Could that be you?

About the Position

Contract Type: Part-time, permanent, 0.4 FTE

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Start Date: September 2024

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing lesson plans and learning materials to facilitate positive pupil development, as well as assessments that can accurately determine pupil progress and ways in which you can facilitate pupil development.

  • Implementing and delivering lessons of an excellent standard to pupils in Reception.

  • Fostering a learning environment and educational structures that allow a child to flourish as a 'whole person' and not only in the academic sense.

  • Continuing to develop and update the school curriculum, enabling your lessons to always adapt to the needs of every child.


  • About you

    We are looking for someone who has:
  • QTS (essential).

  • Experience designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work in EYFS.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic.

  • Strong commitment to continued personal development.
