Full Job Description

The post holder will line manager the Supervisors and teams in the Main Radiology Office and Radiology Call Centre. They will also support the Radiology Practice Manager in day-to-day management of the service.
The successful candidate will work with support from the Radiology Practice Manager and is expected to require the minimum of supervision co-ordinating their activities in order to ensure that an efficient service is provided to service users.
The post holder will develop an excellent understanding of the roles in their area of responsibility and be able to step in if required., + To support and deputise for the Radiology Practice Manager in delivery of the administrative and clerical aspects of the Radiology patient pathways.
+ To provide direct line management support of the Call centre, Main Office and their clerical and administration teams in those areas.
+ To monitor and ensure that the management of patients is efficient and effective, considering the individual needs of the patient and the requirements of the service.
+ To support monitoring of radiology performance metrics and understand the implication of these.
+ To support management of Radiology Network activities (Peninsula Radiology Network - PenRAD)
+ Support the Radiology Management team continually review and improve processes to deliver an efficient and effective service to patients
+ To ensure that patients and staff are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect.

Working for our organisation
The TSDFT Clerical Team manage all processes related to patient appointments and tasks related to that. The team manage in excess of 100,000 bookings and tasks associated to the patient journey.
The team is managed by the Practice Manager supported by the successful candidate for this post. They will manage the call centre and main office which includes 5 supervisors across both areas who manage the team of 15 Clerical Officers.
