Quotation Engineer

Due to expansion, we are seeking a Quotation Engineer. This will play a crucial role in the sales and bidding process, preparing accurate and competitive quotations for products or services based on customer requirements. Working closely with the sales, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure that the quotations align meet customer expectations. Ability to analyse technical specifications, and provide pricing estimates will be essential in securing new projects and contracts.,

• Coordinate with internal engineers and customers on BoM/data queries. Providing alternatives for customer approval.


• Preparing BoM/data using MES system for internal engineering sign off.


• Estimating RFQ's using automated electronic quoting software for material and labour.


• Quote loading & progressing using ERP system ready for sales sign off.


• Update system as appropriate on customer, company and opportunity/prospects log, ensuring that the information is updated daily and accurately.


• Attend customer meetings as required.


• Managing inbound enquiries via email and phone.


• Undertaking administrative duties, and any other relevant roles as reasonably required to meet needs of the department.


• Obtaining competitive and accurate quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors
  
  We are looking for a team player who is driven, solutions focused and able to work to their own initiative, Diploma of Higher Education (required)
