Quantity Surveyor / Cost Controller

1. Commercial focal point on site to support Project Manager and client representative.

2. Preparation of Client cost reports including but not limited to value of works, forecast of spend, variations and commitments.

3. Ensure, along with the Project Manager, that variations are identified in a timely manner and that they are presented to the client for approval in line with the agreed project timelines & variation process.

4. Identify where Cost, Time, Resource (CTR) and/or Client PO variations and amendments may be required to cover contract changes and provide support in their drafting and submission.

5. Support the project team by providing ongoing and regular commercial & cost analysis and information regarding expenditures and the financial performance of the project.

6. Liaise with the project Commercial Co-ordinator & Administrator (Aberdeen based) to review invoices to ensure they presented to the Client correctly and in a timely manner such that they are paid on the due date.

The postholder is expected to adhere to the Golden Rules of Safety (transitioning to 'The 9 Lifesaving Rules in 2020) and the Petrofac Values.

· Preferably Degree qualified (preferably in Quantity Surveying or similar)

· Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel

· Site experience is preferred but not essential

Petrofac is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Controller -PAYE contract position for 3 months based in Birkenhead, UK.
