Quantity Surveyor

Peace Recruitment is currently assisting a global real estate consultancy in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing construction team, which can be based in either Manchester or Leeds office.

This team expansion has arisen due to multiple successful tenders across a range of sectors, with a mix of both high value new build and refurbishment projects in the pipeline.

As part of a very well-respected organisation, you will have the opportunity to lead multiple projects across commercial, residential and industrial sectors. You will be a key part of the team, with excellent opportunities to work toward promotion to a more senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

-       Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders

-       Resolving issues & understanding project challenges

-       Prepare Estimates/Cost Plans/Tender Documents/Tender Reports

-       Work collaboratively with other internal service teams, such as Project Managers, to provide an integrated approach to client delivery

Requirements:

-       3+ years Quantity Surveying experience within a Construction consultancy environment is essential

-       Experienced within property projects across a variety of sectors, with any of the above-mentioned sector experience being an added bonus

-       Ability to autonomously lead client projects

-       A desire to further develop your career, working toward a more senior level within the team

-       Concise verbal and written communication abilities

-       MRICS status is preferred, however not essential

On offer:

-       Salary between £45,000 - £52,000 DOE

-       Bonus (avg. £2500 - £6000)
