Full Job Description

The Quality Systems Executive is responsible for establishing quality systems and standards, which enable achievement of regulatory compliance and good manufacturing practices and anticipate the changing needs of customers, regulatory bodies and the business. The Quality Systems Executive will guide and facilitate Quality activities within the business, to assure processes that deliver integrity of the product through all stages of manufacture and release.

  • Principal Accountabilities
  • Support of the management of the quality systems, which adapt to the changing needs of the business, regulatory requirements, and international standards in line with strategy of Amcor and site Management Team

  • Guide departments/co-workers in understanding of quality requirements specific to their role through training activities, audit programs and incident investigation

  • Communication of specific quality system requirements to all parts of business as applicable.

  • Facilitate awareness and participation in specific activities related to GMP

  • Evaluate and negotiate agreements that reflect business technical/quality capability and requirements with customers

  • Assist to lead second- and third-party audits of site preparing required information to support audits and providing formal response as required

  • Oversee certificate of analysis/conformance system resolving any anomalies

  • Analyse information and/or data to recommend quality improvement activities within business

  • Coordinate and participate in the Internal Audit program

  • Ensure all suppliers documentation are accurate and up to date.

  • Perform quarterly microbiological and allergen testing.

  • Control and ensure all inspections and reports are carried out and fully complete.

  • Provide induction and quality training to new starters, as well as refresher training to all co-workers

    Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, BRC)

  • Basic awareness of GxP regulations in the context of pharmaceuticals and Quality Assurance activities, especially relating to control of documentation.
