Full Job Description

As we transform our QA team into QE function to accelerate the flow of QUALITY product to our customers at NewDay ! We're looking for some strong hands-on technical quality engineers to help us achieve it.
The Quality Engineering teams that we're establishing will help us improve testing methodologies & establish test template, collaborating with products and engineering teams to complement models like feature delivery combined with Shift left and help drive the future growth of NewDay.

0-12 months you'll deliver
Be technical hands-on in Quality Engineering organisation having main objectives to improve testing efficiency, cost and quality. Work alongside Product and engineering teams to understand objectives and capture automation requirements and code/integrate them in framework. Take accountability for maintaining partners' awareness by performing crucial performance metrics for automated testing, as directed by test lead. Contribute in Designing/developing the Automation Strategy and framework. Design, development, debugging and implementation of test automation scripts. Reviewing of Test script code and implement automation best methodologies/practices. Helping establish mechanism to find root causes of issues/failures, resulting in reduction of time to resolution. Operationalize automation procedures everyday to uphold consistent performance, thereby achieving a reliable success status, while collaborating closely with engineering team developers to mitigate any inconsistencies or issues.
Provide support for the research and implementation of advanced automation features including self-healing mechanisms, script-less automation.

Strong, proven experience in software QA & Test program development and automated testing experience of software. Hands on experience with a variety of test tools/frameworks including but not limited to Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber/Gherkin. Proficient with REST/RESTFUL web-services, Git hub, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins, Postman. Proficiency with 2 or more of following programming languages/frameworks: C, C++, C#, Java, VB, Python, Good understanding of cloud resources (AWS, Azure) and DevOps concepts (containerization, pipelines), Have a passion and strong focus for delivering Quality products in automated fashion Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow through completion Love collaborating to deliver outcomes, putting the customer/user first Be willing to grow, learn and lead by example Ability to handle ambiguity Brings external perspectives to the team
