Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer to join our Nuclear and Infrastructure Division based at our site in Dalton, Thirsk.

As a QA/QC Engineer, you'll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project inspections and technical requirements have been met. You'll be working on large, complex, multi-disciplined projects within a strictly regulated environment - so it essential that you have previously worked for, or gained experienced at, an organisation of a similar size.

The role will require the successful candidate to collate and analyse data, support with audits, and liaise with clients, so it is also essential that you have an eye for detail and enjoy analytical work.

Ideally, you'll have a good level of education and will have an HND, HNC or equivalent (NVQ 4) in Engineering and / or Construction or be a time-served engineer. You'll have a desire Internal progression within the Severfield Group is considered to be an important part of our employee's journey therefore personal development is something that we invest heavily in.

In addition, you'll have extensive hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems and Principles, a recognised auditing qualification, will possess CSWIP 3.1, as well as exposure to interpreting and accepting contract NDT reports on behalf of a business and be suitably qualified (PCN Level 2).

Working Hours for this role are: 37.5 hours per week. 07.45 - 16:45 Monday - Thursday with a 45 minute unpaid lunch, 7.30 - 12:00 Friday.
