Quality Assurance Associate

The role of the Quality Systems Associate is to aid in the improvement of business quality processes through the achievement and maintenance of the quality management system ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications for the Wellingborough site. To support the Quality Systems Manager in ensuring that the quality system is maintained and effective by carrying out audits and ensuring documentation is relevant, controlled and up to date. Additionally, aid in the continual improvement of the system and monitor internal and external non-conformities raised to ensure completion in a timely manner.,

• Provide guidance on quality assurance and process improvement under the direction of the Quality Systems Manager.


• Assist in implementing and maintaining relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements.


• Support audit compliance by leading and co-auditing existing processes against quality standards.


• Collaborate with departments to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the audit program, including documenting findings and corrective actions.


• Aid in managing customer, internal, and supplier complaints processes, conducting root cause analysis when required.


• Drive Root Cause Failure Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions for identified nonconformities.


• Manage administrative duties related to document control within the Quality Management System (QMS).


• Assist in driving continual improvement efforts across all areas of the business.
  
  Degree qualified in a relevant subject and/or some comparable industrial experience.


• Numerate, analytical and IT literate.


• Previous experience working with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or as an auditor is advantageous but not essential.


• Process driven with a continual improvement mindset and high attention to detail.


• Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to drive improvement actions to completion.
