Full Job Description

· To monitor and control the HACCP system and to ensure that CCP's are constantly achieved.

· Constantly ensure that CCPS are met and that teams understand their relevance and monitor HACCP (Critical Control Points).

· Endorse, champion and deliver training programmes for new team members and ensure on-going refresher training and spot checks for existing team members.

· To ensure that all microbiological, chemical and organoleptic (taste panel) sampling is conducted according to an agreed schedule and records are maintained. This includes assisting with the daily taste panel.

· To aid the technical manager in the trending of technical KPIs, validations and any other project work as required.

· Perform process checks throughout the goods-in, production, packaging, dispatch and warehousing functions of the business.

· Pre-operational checks: cleaning, weight checks, label checks, package integrity, equipment.

· Maintain accurate and organised records of QA activities ensuring up to date information is available at all times. Make recommendations for amendments where necessary.

· Ensure all products are labelled and produced to specification and control documentation is completely accurately and timely.

· Ensure product quality is assessed post packing, to ensure that it meets specification, and is at the highest standard for our customers. Ensure any product that does not meet the required quality standard is placed on hold and corrected.

· Continuously strive for the highest standard possible looking for continuous improvements, this includes providing regular feedback to the Technical Consultant and Directors relating to any recognisable trends in issues and ensuring any product issues are immediately communicated.

· Support TRUEfoods Ltd in maintaining a positive and strong attitude and culture around food safety and quality.

· To comply with Company Policy to ensure the adherence on all matters concerning Health & Safety across all functions.

· This is not an exhaustive list, and you may be required to carry out any other additional duties as reasonably requested.

· The ideal candidate will demonstrate a background within a busy production environment. The candidate will enjoy fast paced, problem solving roles with an ability to 'challenge' when needed.

· An understanding and practical experience of HACCP, although training will be given.

· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with all levels of personnel; factory floor to Director level.

· Ability to engage and train others, with the foresight to adapt your style when required to ensure that 'the message' is received and understood.

· High level of organisation and prioritising skills with the ability to see a job through to satisfactory.

· Creative problem-solving skills - imperative is the need to deliver solutions.

· Computer literate with an ability to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

· The ability to cope and adapt to change - At TRUEfoods we don't stand still.

· A genuine pride in all that you do and work with the philosophy that fine is not good enough.

· Must have a flexible approach to work in relation to working days and hours, additional hours will be required during busy periods.
