Full Job Description

We have a full time Children's Well-being Practitioners position available in our Getting Help team in Durham based at Winchester House ., The post holder will work within the Getting Help team providing assessment and CBT based low intensity interventions to individuals and groups.

The post holder will work with young people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities.

Our Children's Wellbeing Practitioner's deliver a range of brief low intensity, evidenced based psychological therapies.

The post holder will work with children and young people (0-18years) with the principal objectives of providing assessment and intervention to children and young people who have mental health needs.

Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and liaising closely with other agencies you will assess, plan and implement care for children with mental health needs.
