To become a Lecturer in Public Services in our Public Services department, we need someone who is knowledgeable, organised and has a passion for teaching in Further Education.

The successful candidate will have the chance to share their knowledge and acquire new skills, developing their abilities in a wide range of activities.

Our departments collaborate to establish and uphold the inclusive HoW culture, we keep this in mind as we manage interactions with the public, fellow employees, and nearby schools.

This position is based cross campus; therefore, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.

In summary, as someone who has a Knowledge and understanding of current developments in the public services, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:

Plan and deliver teaching, learning and assessment across a range of programmes within the Public services (levels 2 to 5) and associated curriculum areas.

To produce schemes of work, lesson plans, individual learning plans and assessment schedules appropriate to the curriculum area to demonstrate effective planning and sequencing of learning.

To plan and develop assignment and assessment material appropriate to each specific programme
