Full Job Description

The role of Property Support Officer has been developed to support with a number of day to day activities and within the Property team at LWMTS. The role will mainly support the Senior Estates Surveyor and the Estates Technical Officer. You will support with daily admin duties but also get involved with building maintenance, project support and daily support to the Directors as required. The key responsibility is supporting the asset management team around land and property transactions.,

  • Updating of the Council Asset Register / Tenancy Schedule and main records.

  • Searching online and physical databases for Deed / Lease information relating to the LDC estate.

  • Meeting contractors on site at DCH as required.

  • Support the Estates Senior surveyor and the Estates Technical Officer.

  • Attending meetings as required both in person and via teams.

  • Review of lease documents as required and provide responses as requested.

  • Respond to emails and requests for information from the property inbox.

  • Collate information in relation to freedom of information request.

  • Work with the Corporate Landlord Maintenance team to support with any tenant maintenance requests.

  • Raising of purchase orders as required and paying of invoices through CIVICA finance system

  • Filing of all electronic communications.

  • Supporting with workplace functions as requested.

    5+ years' experience in a support role

  • Use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Ability to plan and prioritise work in line with daily/weekly priorities.

  • Ability to review reports from contractors/tenants and prioritise daily work.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experienced in retrieving data and presenting it back.

  • Experience of working with a broad range of internal stakeholders, LDC, external partners, contractors and tenants.

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

  • A positive and proactive attitude.

  • Attention to detail.
