Full Job Description

You will join a recently created TRACTEBEL entity with very ambitious goals and exceptional projects. Created to support projects localised in the UK, the entity's mission is to promote TRACTEBEL as a key player of the nuclear business in the UK.

As a Project Support Officer - Quality Manager, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team environment. You will be integrated in the Business Stream covering UK activities and support our project and operations in the UK. You will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders across TRACTEBEL Nuclear.

YOUR ROLE

In your role as a Project Support Officer - Quality Management, you will:

  • Support the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) to the totality of UK projects and operations;

  • Under the supervision of the project manager, prepare, coordinate, and monitor planning, scope, deliverables, project interfaces, risks, and budget aspects of one or more projects during their development and execution phases.

  • Provide support to project managers and project team members in the use of the internal project management tool (Planisware) to contribute to the efficient and effective execution of projects.

  • Support in the implementation and maintenance of a project Electronic Document Management tool (ProjectWise)

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring quality standards are met at all stages.

  • Develop and implement quality management strategies and plans, including resources, systems, timescales, financials, and project management.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

  • Coordinate quality control activities with the relevant personnel of the partners and the client, ensuring that all quality-related activities are identified and properly managed.

  • Ensure the follow-up of non-conformities and the application of corrective actions, as well as the follow-up of lessons learned and their application with partners and client.

  • Provide technical and managerial support to the project team, facilitating continuous improvement.

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their quality expectations and to manage their feedback.

  • Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to the management team.

  • Help define and generate key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and associated reporting for these elements.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (like PMP or similar) would be a plus.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in project support and quality management ideally in the nuclear industry.

  • Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.

  • Proficiency in project management software, MS Office Suite (including PowerBi and MS Project) and project Electronic Document Management tool (ProjectWise).

  • Proficiency in Python, Visual Basic or other programming languages would be a plus.

  • Knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO 19443, ISO9001, IAEA GSR Part 2, 10CFR50 App.B, ASME-NQA1, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
