Full Job Description

To start 1 August 2024. 30 hours per week, full year.

Salary will be on a range of points 5-7 on the SFCA Support Staff Pay Scale (£18,434 p.a. to £19,123 p.a.).

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a national programme which seeks to have a major impact on the success of young people with additional needs gaining employment. The Project SEARCH programme is a nine month long training and employment opportunity for adults aged 18-24 with additional needs. The programme provides real life work experience combined with training and employability and independent living skills, as well as formulating a CV, to help young people to make successful transitions from school to productive adult life.

The Job Coach will work under the direction of the Project Facilitators and with the broader Project SEARCH team both internally and externally to ensure that interns are placed on appropriate internships. The post holder will work with interns to build their workplace skills to support them during their internships and support them in gaining skills to secure longer term employment.

This role will work with interns placed with Asda Mount Pleasant, Hull.
