Full Job Description

  • Ensuring and providing project management office assurance across the team

  • Ensure that the portfolio of projects are delivered on time within scope, budget and quality

  • Be accountable for project management governance lifecycle and ensure it is being delivered across the portfolio of projects

  • Be accountable for cost management

  • Responsible for risk & opportunity management

  • Hold responsibility for the scope and change management across the portfolio of projects

  • Develop and support the team

    You will need to have good leadership and team management experience

  • Experience of working in or running a Project Management Office

  • You will need to have gained experience of working on large complex projects

  • Demonstrated experience of lifecycle management governance


  • Desirable
  • Have an understanding of Project Controls processes across large projects

  • Hold an APM qualified or similar professional Project Management qualification

    This role will give you a fantastic opportunity to work within a team who are supporting the SSNA programme which supports the brand new build of a world class and innovative submarine.


  • The Team are responsible for delivering improved ways of working and the enabling capabilities (across People, Process & Toolset aspects) for the SSNA Programme to deliver its commitments.

    Salary: Circa £64,000 depending on skills and experience with a company car allowance and bonus on top, You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
