Full Job Description

We have a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing tabletop games and hobbies company in our head office located just outside of Southend in Essex., The role will see the successful candidate leading projects to ensure they run within time and budgetary constraints. The Project Manager responsibilities include monitoring project progress, following up with stakeholders during the project phases and maintaining project documents. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to gain invaluable exposure working on a variety of projects from conception to completion, whilst working within a fun and exciting company.,

  • To coordinate and manage a variety of projects from initial stages to final delivery.

  • To create a scope of works to highlight the objective, core details and approx. budget involved for initial approval by Senior Management.

  • Lead and coordinate the planning, scope and creation of a detailed project plan on PWA / MS Projects.

  • To create, keep up to date and correctly utilise all relevant Project Documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Communicate, discuss and assign the task deadlines to relevant resources, departments and stakeholders involved, as required to deliver a successful project.

  • Determine the delivery/procurement strategy for a project, and, when required, obtain a minimum of 3x quotations, negotiate costs and potential discounts with external suppliers, while ensuring the required scope of works is covered.

  • Create templates that will be required and relevant to achieve a project deliverable and provide guidance on task processes with the stakeholders.

  • Evaluate project plans to understand, record and actively manage any risks or issues that may be faced throughout the project timeline.

  • Keep track of project deliverables, allocated resources and budgets throughout the project and update Senior Management of any delays or issues.

  • Be proactive to resolve project issues and provide solutions to Senior Management for consideration.

  • Assess, evaluate and capture project successes and highlight improvements & learnings for the future.

  • Provide weekly status reports to the Head of Project Management (daily if requested) for all projects.

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Research and assist in the implementation and procurement of any requested new supplies, services and business processes.

  • Provide administrative support for any regular meetings, such as taking & compiling minutes, scheduling meetings and issuing meeting notes.

    A minimum of 3x years previous experience in project management or a similar role, ideally within an organisation with a defined project management function.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (preferably MS Projects)

  • Highly organised and able to multitask.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Used to working under pressure and to multiple deadlines in a busy environment

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
