Full Job Description

Base Location: Flexible UK, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Perth, Glasgow, Reading or London., As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Solar & Battery Operations Delivery team. Your focus will be on contributing to the delivery of various project-related activities, aligning with SSE's commitment to accelerate towards net zero. This position requires adept coordination skills and the ability to oversee the preparation of crucial project documentation efficiently.

Main accountabilities may include:

- Supporting the Operations Delivery team across all projects ensuring successful coordination and delivery.

- Assisting in managing a complex and varied project portfolio and take charge of the preparation and compilation of key documents.

- Producing monthly reports, organize Leadership team meetings, and ensure prompt submission of necessary documentation.

- Coordinating the efficient administration of project business, handling documentation and transactions seamlessly.

- Maintaining a superuser status for various project tools ensuring optimal usage and management.

Familiarity with Project Management techniques and tools such as APM, PMI, Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project is beneficial.

- Experience in an environment requiring a solid understanding of multiple processes to deliver role outcomes.

- The ability to effectively manage and prioritize work, demonstrating strong time management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Office 365, and SharePoint highly desirable.

- Personal attributes should include flexibility, high motivation, excellent presentation skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Salary: £31,339- £35,892 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
