The Programme Leader, Specialist Community Nursing is to lead on the strategic development and operational delivery of our well-established post-registration delivery of community children's nursing, district nursing and general practice nursing. Your teaching approach should be flexible, student-focused, and research informed, and you should possess excellent interpersonal skills. Previous experience of teaching within a higher education institution is essential. Demonstration of module/ programme leadership is essential. You will have current knowledge of NMC requirements for specialist community nursing. You will have an awareness of the requirements for Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education and Ofsted. You will be able to demonstrate evidence of leadership, teamworking and working autonomously as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of successful partnership working with practice partners and students is essential., You must have live registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a nurse or midwife and you should hold current recordable qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Specialist Community Nurse. You will hold a master's degree or a Level 7 qualification such as a PgDip. Commitment to doctoral study is desirable.

FTE: 1.0 fte (working 37 hours per week)
Duration of Contract: Permanent
Salary: UH9 £56,021 pa to £66,857pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
