Programme Director

As Programme Director, you'll lead delivery across a large and diverse client portfolio. Ensuring profitability, quality and client satisfaction.

Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management, you will lead a team of Project Managers to effectively manage project budgets, mitigate risks, and enhance delivery processes, fostering innovation and continuous improvement across the agency.

You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle from discovery to design and development across a range of projects from technical innovation, brand strategy to large scale application builds. You will also play a pivotal role in driving growth by partnering on proposals and pitches, effectively communicating our processes to clients.

The career development of the PM team will be a key focus for you, holding 6 month appraisals and providing regular opportunities for knowledge sharing, as well as more formal training. You'll also be responsible for hiring freelance and permanent staff into your team.

A highly motivated Programme Director, who has managed large teams and programmes of work, you'll be passionate about digital and customer experience. You'll have a sound technical understanding and be well versed in agile and waterfall methodologies.

We are looking for someone who has experience in the following:

• Ability to manage portfolios of clients over £5m


• Ability to manage projects with £1m+ budgets


• Strong commercial acumen and experience delivering to revenue targets


• A hands-on approach - we all muck in


• Fantastic client relationship and stakeholder management skills


• Confident presenting at board level


• Prince 2, Scrum master qualified (ideal but not essential)


• 8+ years agency experience delivering brand, experience strategy, web builds, content management systems, applications builds


• Experience working with remote teams and third parties Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Confluence, Trello, JIRA)
