Full Job Description

  • Collects and captures relevant emerging case law and legal, practice and insurance industry developments from external and internal sources and delivers these effectively to legal advisers.

  • Promote and assist with the contribution of know-how, and instigate processes to maximise contributions (including attendance at Group meetings, regular Group reminders and end of matter de-briefs).

  • Anticipates and captures information for clients on legal developments, trends, regulatory changes and industry developments affecting the claims handling landscape.

  • Assists in identifying emerging issues and trends for dissemination to clients and utilisation in the creation of business development opportunities

  • Ensures work logs and management information are kept up to date

  • Participates in regular strategy and planning meetings with rest of team and relevant partners.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise work and think strategically about the role of a PSL and to work to develop the team to meet the firm and clients needs.

    4+years PQE as a solicitor, or equivalent, with experience in Insurance sector as a fee earner.

  • In depth knowledge of the Insurance market.

  • Excellent drafting skills.

  • Keen interest in professional training and development, marketing and business development.

  • Self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels, and work as part of a team., Our recruitment process upholds the highest standards of fairness and engagement.
