Full Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Exam Invigilators for our Solicitors Qualifying Examinations. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding the integrity of examinations, ensuring a smooth and fair assessment process. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, including paper distribution, candidate escorting, addressing inquiries, and managing the examination environment. This position presents an excellent opportunity for those interested in gaining valuable assessment experience.   • Maintaining Examination Integrity: Ensure the integrity of the examination process by strictly adhering to assessment protocols and guidelines.

  • Paper Management: Efficiently distribute and collect examination papers.

  • Candidate Assistance: Escort candidates to their assigned seats/examination rooms, promptly addressing any concerns or queries they may have.

  • Seating Allocation: Utilize a predetermined timetable to allocate candidates to their designated seats.

  • Oral Assessments: Oversee the commencement and progress of oral assessments.

  • Coordination with Front of House Team: Hand over candidates to the Front of House team upon the completion of assessments.

  • IT Proficiency: Competency in basic IT skills.

  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: Full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended hours and weekends when required.

  • Desirable but not Essential: Prior exam invigilation experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided., A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

  • Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

    Pay: £15.24-£18.94 per hour

    Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
