Production Laboratory Operative

Creation and testing of Dry Laundry Powder products and raw materials including: -

• Reading from batch making cards to weigh raw materials


• Manual handling of products and raw materials


• Measurements of product and raw material physical properties (density, moisture, pH etc.)


• Data entry into lab notes


• Housekeeping and cleaning of work areas and equipment


• Basic checks of safety equipment and restocking PPE


• Raw material inventory stocktaking and dispensing


• Start up and shut down checklist


• Ad hoc projects as and when they arrive
  
  An interest/education in science.


• Good level of physical fitness, as regular manual handling is required.


• Strong familiarity with technology.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.


• Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships quickly.


• Experience working with Microsoft Office software.
