Full Job Description

The Product Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Product Marketing Managers activities within the division to drive growth in key markets for the Small Molecules business. This position is a key role at the interface of Digital Marketing, Product Management and Product Marketing departments., Market intelligence

  • Build a deep working understanding of the competitor landscape. Compile insightful competitor intelligence to support the business unit, providing regular and timely reports as required.

  • Perform pricing analysis to support price review activities and clearly communicate findings.


  • Reporting
  • Perform data analysis on large datasets to deliver regular reports on business key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Act as the primary point person to maintain up to date product level information on internal databases and commercial systems.


  • Marketing
  • Use your scientific knowledge to provide technical guidance to the digital marketing team, to influence strategy and improve website performance.

  • Support the events team by actively liaising with multiple departments to correctly position the product portfolio at conferences and tradeshows and ensure that key messaging and marketing collateral aligns with the business strategy.


  • Scientific content
  • Support the Content Managers with scientific writing (Web/emails/social media/brochure)

  • Optimize website content created to SEO guidelines, as well as enhancing the SEO of existing web content

    The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Life Sciences research market, and strong communication and collaborative skills to operate in a global matrixed organisation., Life Science degree (ideally Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Natural Sciences, Cell Biology)

  • Possess strong IT skills; including experience of working with databases and spreadsheets

  • Experience in scientific marketing would be ideal
