Full Job Description

Do you have a passion for good food, health and sustainability? Would you like to play your part in helping Quorn Foods to achieve our ambition of coming Net Positive by 2030 and providing 8 billion servings of mycoprotein globally?, Your primary role will be the provide support to our Product Development team in innovation activities during kitchen development, factory trials and customer requests. Typically, you will be responsible for ingredient and kitchen management, assisting with sample evaluations, cooking instruction verification and supporting scale up of products from the kitchen through to the factory.

This role will be undertaken in-line with the National Apprenticeship Scheme 'Level 3 Food Technologist' over a 2 year period, therefore, applicants who have previously studied a related subject at undergraduate degree level or higher would NOT qualify and should not apply.

Due to this requirements of this apprenticeship, applicants MUST have lived continuously within the UK or EEA for the three years previously in order to qualify for funding., Minimum of English & Maths GCSE at Grade C/4 or above

- A clear interest and passion for food with a desire to develop their professional career in the food manufacturing industry

- Demonstrable ability to be creative, innovative and learn new skills

- Good level of IT literacy and competency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel

- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet - you don't have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
