Full Job Description
As a Product Designer at BT Consumer/EE, you'll be the objective voice of our users. Relentlessly chasing needs-based innovation and producing world class quality experiences. You'll partner with Product and engineering colleagues to define digital experiences, with a focus on translating user needs and business goals into compelling interactive customer journeys.,
- Ensure the user can achieve their goal easily, in a simplified user journey, with low friction interactions in a way that has a commercial benefit
- Utilise the EE Design System in your experience designs
- Be a Design team representative and a main point of contact for product owners and product team members on developing a user centred approach to all activities
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to improve the design team processes, ensuring a consistent and coherent process to manage design quality and collaboration across teams
- Develop user experience designs and prototypes at any level of fidelity needed independently, while being as lean and outcome focused as possible
Interaction Design & Prototyping - defining the order and experience of the users activities within the digital touch-points - Visual Design & Finesse - creating interactions into a simple and delightful user interface
- User Journey Mapping - designing end to end journeys with needs and data at their heart
- User Research & Testing - discovering issues and needs through regular qualitative learning
- Micro Interaction Design - ensuring each moment is intentionally created
- Data Analysis, MVT & A/B Testing - analysing behaviours and appetites using regular quantitative learning
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with an ability to turn complexity into simplicity
- Empathy and a willingness to help users and colleagues
- Lean approach to action; continually finding ways to deliver more value to the customer and the business with less effort
