Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team, specifically focusing on a product control project. Responsibilities:
Analyse product data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Utilize SQL and Python to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data effectively. Design and implement data mining techniques to discover actionable insights. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of product control processes, proposing improvements where necessary.
Desired Skills:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in a product control or financial services environment. Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical modeling and data mining techniques. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying from relational databases. Experience with Python programming for data analysis and scripting. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of financial products and markets. Experience with regulatory reporting requirements in the financial industry. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or
Azure.
