Full Job Description

Condé Nast is seeking a Creative Producer to join our dynamic and fast-paced creative production team. In this role the Creative Producer will work closely with our Director of Programming & Development on all editorial video productions for British Vogue.
The Creative Producer should have a strong history of creating and executing high quality digital videos, a voracious interest in digital video and a deep understanding of how to produce video content with high profile talent.
What will you be doing?

  • Generate on-brand, cross-platform creative ideas, series and franchises across social-only, short-form and documentary-style video.

  • Produce high quality video shoots with a holistic approach and an eye for detail. Should display an "all hands on deck" approach to their work ethic.

  • Manage end-to-end production logistics on all projects. Must feel confident coordinating crew, equipment, travel logistics (domestic and internationally), on-site production needs, budgets, permits, contracts, releases, insurance, post production, scheduling, and various other production requirements.

  • Oversee creative development and execution, partnering closely with crew members and magazine staff. Must feel confident with creative decision-making in relation to the commissioning process as well as art direction, format allocation and edit reviewing.

  • Must be able to flex creatively and assist directors and other team members, as needed. Ability to work collaboratively and can take feedback and notes on their projects.

  • Must manage and support the post production process and be responsible for collecting all creative notes through the process, and ensure deadlines are being met.

  • Have an excellent knowledge of video, audio and graphics needed throughout the pre & post production process.

  • Have a great understanding of building a channel and programming series on YouTube and social media platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook and Twitter.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously while working under tight deadlines, with small budgets and limited resources.

  • Manage A-list talent and their reps with professionalism and discretion, as a face of the brand.

  • Keep abreast of video-related platform updates, algorithmic changes and best practice

  • Interrogate creative ideas for the best possible iterations to generate engagement across various platforms including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, IGTV, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok and live video.

  • Network with directors, producers, creatives and industry contacts to keep abreast of current trends.

  • Show a passion and enthusiasm for filmmaking, fashion, design, music, art and culture and the British Vogue brand.

    A minimum of 3-5 years of Production experience.

  • A demonstrated track record in production execution.

  • College degree required.

  • Effective time management and organisational skills.

  • Detailed, concise and effective communication and record-keeping.

  • Ability to effectively lead a team and implement workflow and process.

  • Familiarity of contracting, negotiating, scheduling, and managing vendors and crews.

  • Experience with permitting, international travel and production requirements.

  • Familiarity with budgeting, scouting, obtaining releases, purchase orders, call sheets, booking freelance production crews and equipment, coordinating travel, permitting, scheduling, handling insurance requirements, production and post-production scheduling, reconciling financials, and cost reporting is required.

  • Skilled in compliance with contractual obligations, permitting, labour laws, international visa & carnet requirements, safety, and insurance needs.

  • Must be computer savvy with skills in G-Suite by Google Cloud and various budgeting, cost reporting, financial, and project management software.

  • Familiarity with Camera Equipment, Lighting, Audio, and Post Production Equipment and needs.
