For the avoidance of doubt as your contractual place of work is Stratford, the move from any temporary place of work will not give rise to any entitlement to payments for travel time or costs under the Relocation and Excess Travel Policy., The Proceeds of Crime Centre (PoCC) discharges NCA’s statutory obligation to provide a system of training, accreditation and monitoring of Financial Investigators and Financial Intelligence Officers. We are evolving as a team and want to completely revamp how our training is delivered and accreditation is maintained. We are in the early stages of updating many of our team products, making them more relevant and up to date with new and emerging opportunities and threats whilst also making the products more accessible.

    There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ PoCC Officer – our diversity is our strength., The Financial Investigation Support System (FISS) is hosted by PoCC and enables the PoCC to deliver its function. FISS gives registered users access to a Case Law database, official court templates, discussion forums, regularly updated news items, and a resource library of information and guidance around all aspects of financial investigation. PoCC designs, develops, delivers and maintains a broad range of training products and continuing professional development activities for the national law enforcement community to ensure the highest possible standards in financial investigation and asset recovery. PoCC provides operational advice and guidance, where required, to all PoCA enabled law enforcement organisations.
    As a Manager in the Proceeds of Crime Centre (PoCC), you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for PoCCs approach to the training, accreditation and ongoing support to Financial Investigators and Financial Intelligence Officers. You will be responsible for managing a geographically dispersed team who are entrusted with maximising impact by developing and monitoring PoCC outputs, acting on stakeholder engagement feedback, compiling management information data and producing high level reports for senior management.
    You will be central to the on-going monitoring and improvement of the performance of Financial Investigation and asset recovery in the workplace across the whole of the proceeds of crime community.
    PoCC is expanding and it’s an exciting time to join the team where you will be part of a dynamic change in process.
    The Proceeds of Crime Centre and UK Financial Intelligence Unit (UKFIU) sit alongside the National Economic Crime Centre (NECC) as parts of the NCA Economic Crime Command.

    Interview Details
    You will then be asked to attend an interview in order to have a more in-depth discussion of your previous experience and professional competence.
    There will be 1 round of interviews, and you will be assessed on Behaviour and Technical/Experience criteria as listed above (Behaviour 1 and 2, and Technical/Experience 1, 2, 3, and 4).

    Interview Outcome

    Near Miss

    Additional Information
    + The NCA is a 24/7 organisation, and working patterns must support business requirements. Some roles may require you to respond at short notice or outside of core hours.

    + Previous experience of managing a diverse team, including remote management within a financial intelligence and/or investigation environment.
    + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience of identifying training needs and associated delivery.
    + A thorough understanding of economic crime and the illicit finance landscape, including a good understanding of relevant legislation affecting PoCC activity.
    + A good understanding of the importance of information management and the handling of sensitive information., + Previous experience of managing a diverse team, including remote management within a financial intelligence and/or investigation environment.
