Private Chef

Private estate are seeking a talented and passionate junior Chef to join their household team. The role will require travel mainly within Europe, Malta as well as working in Henley-on-Thames

Duties will include preparation and cooking of healthy, fresh and nutritious meals eg: Steaks, Sunday roasts, curries, English, French and Asian Cuisine, breads, cakes, pastries and desserts. Work with the House Manage to create daily and weekly menus. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the Kitchen. Inventory management and stock rotation. Daily and weekly shopping. Creating food journals and preference sheets for family members

This role may suit a newly qualified Chef who is looking for a dynamic and exciting opportunity or a Chef looking for the next step up in their career. Excellent references will be required. Enhanced DBS. British passport. Clean UK driving licence. Excellent spoken and written English

Must have knowledge of food safety practices and procedures and health and safety with relevant training certificates. Understanding of meal preparation techniques. Passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow. Strong attention to detail and organisation skills. Can-do attitude, team player. Calm disposition

Must live locally to Henley-on-Thames (45 min drive max)

Required - 5 days per week to include weekends/40-45 hour working week
