Full Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Privacy Officer to take charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring Nivoda's privacy framework to ensure compliance with global privacy laws and regulations. You'll work closely with various departments to embed privacy into our business processes and drive continuous improvement in our privacy program. As part of the Risk Team at Nivoda, you'll collaborate closely with senior management, finance, IT, HR, operations, and legal teams.,

  • Policy Development: Design, review, and implement privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure Nivoda complies to relevant privacy laws and regulations.


  • Data Processing Register: Identify and document data processing activities for Nivoda's global operations. Maintain this register in line with privacy laws. 


  • Privacy Impact Assessments: Conduct DPIAs to evaluate privacy risks associated with new projects, processes and/or third parties.


  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor the effective implementation of privacy policies and procedures across the organisation and ensure periodic reporting to senior mgt. 


  • Data Subject Rights Management: Handle data subject requests in accordance with applicable privacy laws.


  • Privacy Training: Deliver privacy training programs to raise awareness among employees.


  • Incident Response: Develop procedures for responding to data breaches and privacy incidents.


  • Vendor Risk Management: Assess and manage privacy risks related to third-party vendors.


  • Privacy By Design: Promote and implement privacy by design principles in product development.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate privacy into business initiatives.

    Minimum 3-5 years experience as a privacy officer, preferably in a global working environment.


  • Knowledge of relevant privacy laws, policy development and privacy training programs.


  • Supply chain-dependent industry experience (retail, logistics, manufacturing) is highly desirable.
