Are you a knowledgeable Senior Cost Manager looking to progress within a company that prioritises its people?

We work across an array of sectors to include residential, commercial, education, blue light, healthcare, and others.
Working closely with the team, you will prepare cost estimates, contract documents and reports.,

  • Large and/or complex project runner with responsibility for project cost control

  • Ensures accurate provision of cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents and reports

  • Carries out audits/cost checks/reviews of construction and FM contracts

  • Liaises directly with Clients

  • Leads bid process and undertakes business development

  • Resources own jobs, undertakes team supervision and monitors internal costs

  • Manages less experienced staff on a day-to-day basis

  • Runs Design Team meetings, reports on and gives advice on cost control matters, You will be wanting to take a step up in your career, and be on the way to achieving an Associate title within the company.

    This role will suit a Senior Cost Manager who has experience working on a variety of projects within the built environment.,
  • Chartered Surveyor with post chartered relevant experience.

  • Member of RICS

  • Strong track record in a consultancy Quantity Surveying role, including cost management of building projects, feasibility/option studies, detailed cost planning, post contract cost management

  • Thorough understanding of the principal standard forms of Building Contracts including JCT and NEC3

  • Experience in liaison directly with clients

  • Ability to control day to day programming and planning

  • Excellent client communication skills

  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
