Full Job Description

  • Setting up tender and bid folders and files, both hard copy and electronic.

  • Maintaining, organising, and managing bid and tender documents.

  • Maintaining a contact directory.

  • Tracking and processing prequalification applications.

  • Tracking and maintaining directory of samples and pre-contract activities.

  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of sales and marketing materials.

  • Assisting with sales and market research.

  • Preparing documentation for handover to internal teams upon contract award.

  • Attending, where required, sales and pre-construction meetings both online and around the UK.

  • Assisting with producing measures and quantities for quotations and tenders.

  • Assisting with production of quotations.

  • Assisting with contract reviews and the contract award process.

  • Assisting with pre-contract structural and architectural design, specifications, and technical responses to external queries.

  • Assisting with pricing and winning high value contracts in a competitive business environment.

  • Assisting with commercial aspects of live projects including surveys, valuations, and variations.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience in a similar role or has a desire to develop their career within the construction industry and gain experience and skill in a wide variety areas., · Previous experience in roles of a similar nature i.e., quantity surveying, estimating, project management, facades generally, other sales or technical sales and design positions, would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

    · Applicants with Quantity Surveying or other construction related course would be looked upon favourably.

    Pay: Competitive remuneration subject to candidates experience and skill set. Salary will increase on annual basis following satisfactory performance.

    Working hours: 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with one 30 min break. 40hrs a week.
