Position Summary: The Power Tool Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various power tools used in industrial, construction, and manufacturing settings. They ensure that power tools are in optimal working condition to maximize efficiency and safety.,

  • Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various types of power tools including but not limited to drills, saws, grinders, sanders, and pneumatic tools.

  • Calibration: Perform regular calibration checks on power tools to ensure accuracy and precision in their operation.

  • Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of power tools to identify any potential issues or signs of wear and tear.

  • Parts Replacement: Replace worn-out or damaged parts of power tools with new components to maintain their functionality.

  • Cleaning and Lubrication: Clean power tools thoroughly and apply appropriate lubricants to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.

  • Testing: Test repaired or calibrated power tools to ensure they meet performance standards and safety regulations.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and inspections performed on each power tool.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling power tools to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Customer Service: Help and support to customers regarding the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power tools., The Power Tool Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of power tools essential for various industries.     Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of power tools, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to use specialized tools and equipment.
