Powder Coating Workshop Assistant

Cougar Coatings Ltd are looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our extremely busy Powder Coating facility in Worle (BS22).

The successful applicant will work as part of a friendly team, and be responsible for preparation of materials for coating, using a variety of methods and products, including chemical cleaning and sanding. You will also carry out the collection and delivery of items to/from customers in a safe and efficient manner, protecting the goods at all time.

In this role, it is crucial that you are a team player, who engages in helping in all areas of the business including; packaging, loading/unloading, maintenance and assisting the Powder Coaters. You will need the ability to follow instructions and work safely. Attention to detail is critical, and a time effective manor is essential, especially whilst working under pressure. Please note that this is a physically demanding role, with constant manoeuvring of materials, and heavy lifting required at times.

We will consider applicants who wish to work part time, however we can only offer this via a reduction in days per week, with a full working day still required. Please ensure that you mention this on your application if required.

From £11.44 an hour - Permanent, Part-time, Full-time, Starting salary meets minimum wage - to be reviewed after 3 months.

Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

Overtime may be required at times (mainly done through early starts)

Immediate start available.

Driving licence essential.
