Full Job Description

As a Post Merger Integration Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the integration of newly acquired businesses into our existing operations. Reporting directly to the Integration Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient integration process. In this capacity, you will contribute significantly to our acquisition strategy by providing valuable insights and support throughout the integration journey. Your ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders and coordinate integration activities will be essential in achieving our integration goals.

Day to Day Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate closely with the Integration Lead to execute integration plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to established timelines.

  • Work closely with workstream leads and internal teams to identify and address integration issues across all service lines within the business as well as support functions (People & Culture, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Client Take On, etc.)

  • Assist Workstream Leads in the development and execution of comprehensive integration plans, delineating timelines, milestones, and KPIs for evaluation of integration success.

  • Facilitate transparent communication among stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, clients, and vendors, to foster alignment and accountability.

  • Monitor integration progress and performance, utilizing project management tools and metrics to track milestones and identify potential risks or challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the integration process.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of integration protocols and best practices based on feedback and lessons learned, fostering continuous improvement.

    A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on post-merger integration projects.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, coupled with a strong understanding of operational processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in fostering a cohesive organizational culture during periods of change, with a focus on integrating diverse teams and aligning cultural values.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage competing priorities.

  • Experience within an accounting firm is an asset (or sufficient experience within any people-driven professional services firm)
