Full Job Description

As a dynamic and growing business, we are searching for self-motivated and positive-minded Ecologists to join our friendly team in our Norwich office. The successful applicants will, with the support of the wider team, be involved in all areas of our work, supporting the delivery of positive change for our clients, communities, and planet, across a range of project types and sectors. With a focus on carrying out habitat and species surveys, you will have the opportunity to help clients deliver biodiversity gain through development.,

  • A full clean UK driving licence.

  • A degree or equivalent qualification (N/SVQ Level 5) in Ecology or a related subject.

  • Experience in ecological consultancy or equivalent sectors.

  • Experience of ecological field survey work.

  • Understanding of relevant UK environmental legislation.

  • Membership of (or working towards such) the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), or equivalent professional body with professional code of conduct., Hold (or be working towards) one or more Natural England (or other equivalent) protected species licence and/or hold Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) Level 3 or above.

  • Experience in preliminary ecological appraisals and/or UKHab surveys.

  • Experience of managing projects to deadlines and budget.

  • At least 3 years relevant experience.
