Pool Lifeguard

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible individual to join our team as a Lifeguard at our leisure centre. As a lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while they enjoy our aquatic facilities., Being a team player and understanding the value of teamwork

- Maintaining a concentrated observation of the pool and pool users, to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all swimmers.

- Follow all relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Hygiene, First Aid and Fire Evacuation.

- Observing all RLSS requirements

- Ensuring safety of customers and other team members and security of equipment.

- Carry out rescues and initiate emergency action where necessary.

- Ensuring paperwork is completed neatly and accurately within specified deadlines.

- Report all potential accidents and near misses.

- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the pool and associated areas, including toilets and changing areas.

- To undertake and organise activities contained within the sports resorts programme or water resorts programme.

Must hold relevant NPLQ, First Aid and CPR / AED qualifications

- Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues if necessary

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact / engage with guests of all ages.

- Compliance management skills to ensure pool rules are regulations are adhered to at all times

- Must be at least 17 years old
