Full Job Description

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
As a Policy Advisor (EO level), your main responsibilities will be:
+ Supporting policy decisions on how to handle legal cases and the underpinning strategy.
+ Ensuring record keeping on legal cases is up to date and accurate.?
+ Assisting with tracking legal costs and ensuring invoices are paid.?
+ Keeping track of key deadlines as part of a busy portfolio and prioritising within this, to ensure MOD equities are protected.
+ Leading on the triage of incoming litigation and tasking of the team. ??
+ Liaising with the wider team and MOD legal advisor team on litigation cases, especially around disclosure and strategy for cases.
+ Ensuring good information management practices, to help prepare for legal cases.?
+ Identifying pertinent information from case working and eligibility files to clearly articulate how and why decisions were made regarding an applicant's case and across wider cohorts.

+ Ability to stay on top of trackers and chase.
+ Attention to detail/organised.
