Full Job Description

You'll be pivotal in supporting the delivery of changes across Connect including IT and Clinical/Back Office operations. Here's a look at your responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Assist Project Managers in the planning, controlling, monitoring, driving, and reporting of new and existing projects

  • Trust Builder: Build relationships with both external and internal stakeholders at various levels of authority, communicating effectively on the progress of projects.

  • Process & Governance Guardian: ensure the appropriate project governance is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, including (but not exclusive to) RAIDs, budget trackers, reporting, and that project management software (e.g., Azure DevOPs, Jira) is effectively utilised and maintained.


  • You'll be working closely with Faye (or Fayza to the nearest and dearest), who's been a staple here at Connect for 14 years now! Working across multiple departments, she has a deep knowledge of the inner workings of Connect. Usually armed with something crunchy or crispy, you'll have a blast working with her.

    A day in this role will be challenging and rewarding as the key person to guiding and influencing how we control and govern change in Connect Health. We have lots of home grown talent that is dynamic and eneegetic, however has limited experience of change outside of connect. Coaching and guiding on processes and terminology.

    You'll get hands on administration in various tools - dev ops, fresh service but nothing ever beats building relationships in our small(ish) team.

    You'll get stuck in governing change, stretching beyond project delivery for our live and emerging technologies

    We are looking for a dedicated PMO Lead to join our Information Management & Technology (IM&T) team. If you are an IT professional with a passion for making a real impact on healthcare, we want to hear from you. You'll be able to demonstrate:
  • Organisation and Planning: You'll be a highly organised individual, with solid experience working within a project/PMO environment, with a proven ability to support all aspects of project management.

  • Communication Pro: You'll be an excellent communicator able to share information, ideas and issues with various groups in different forms. Your ability to organise groups of colleagues and stakeholders to help drive projects forward is essential

  • Enjoys the detail: You'll be flexible and adaptable and have a keen eye for detail with experience of status reporting and budget management.

  • Healthcare Insight: Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus, as it will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this environment.

  • Professional certification in Project Management (PRINCE2, Agile etc), If you are a tech-savvy, strategic thinker with a passion for healthcare and a knack for making IT solutions work for the greater good, we invite you to join us.
